Kraven Assistant

Kraven is your AI accounting assistant. It reviews the items on Overwatch, determines which ones it can help with, and presents them in a structured workflow for your review and approval.

Opening Kraven

Click the orange KRAVEN button in the top-right corner of any Overwatch page. Kraven opens as a panel on the right side of your screen.

How Kraven Relates to Overwatch

Important

Kraven and Overwatch show different scopes. Overwatch shows all items across all clients. Kraven shows only the items it has an action for, for one client at a time.

This means Kraven will usually show fewer items than Overwatch — that's expected. Kraven tells you which client it's working on at the top of the panel.

What You See in Kraven

The Metric Strip

MetricWhat It Means
Items in ScopeTotal items Kraven can work with for this client
Run NowItems Kraven can safely process — these are checks and repairs that won't change your books
ApprovalsItems that need your sign-off before Kraven can proceed
Needs ReviewItems that require manual action or don't have an automated path yet

The Execution Plan

Kraven organizes work into four lanes:

LaneWhat HappensYour Role
Run NowSafe checks or repairs Kraven can complete now — these do not post entries or modify recordsYou can let these run automatically
Approve Then ContinueAfter you approve, Kraven completes the remaining safe stepsReview and approve the batch
Judgment NeededYou need to review evidence before Kraven can continueReview details and make a decision
Open WorkspaceKraven can navigate you to the right screen, but the work itself happens outside KravenClick to open the relevant workspace

The Operator Ledger

Shows the current state of Kraven's work in one place:

  • Already Did — Actions Kraven has completed in this session
  • Doing Automatically — Actions currently running
  • Safe to Continue — Items ready for you to approve and let Kraven proceed
  • Stopped — Items that couldn't be processed (with the reason why)

Working with Kraven Items

The Working List

Each item in the list shows:

  • Title — what the issue is
  • Client name — which client this belongs to
  • Action label — what Kraven will do (e.g., "Review cash context in Kraven", "Acknowledge in Kraven")
  • Safety explanation — a note confirming whether the action changes your books
  • "Kraven Can Do This" badge — confirms the specific action Kraven will take

TIP

Look for the safety notes on each item. Items that say "Read-only" or "does not change accounting records" are safe to let Kraven handle without concern.

Selecting Items

  • Use the checkboxes to select which items Kraven should process
  • Use Select All or Deselect All to manage the batch
  • Items that require your review will be unchecked by default

Approve Together

When Kraven identifies items that share the same approval path and risk level, it groups them into a batch you can approve with one click.

  • Review the batch description to understand what you're approving
  • Click Review Details on any individual item for more information
  • Click Approve Together to approve the entire batch at once

Safety and Control

  • Plan Only mode — Toggle this on (in the footer) to see what Kraven would do without actually executing anything
  • Configure Snooze — Temporarily hide items you've already reviewed so they don't clutter your view
  • Kraven will never post journal entries, modify invoices, or change accounting data without your explicit approval
  • All actions are logged — you can audit what Kraven did at any time
