Command Center

The Command Center is your main workspace in Kraal. It is where you manage AI tasks, launch skills, monitor workflows, and review results — all in one place.

For client-wide history across approvals, task outcomes, and connected accounting activity, use the Audit Center.

Accessing the Command Center

Open the Command Center from the sidebar navigation. It is the primary entry point after logging in and serves as the hub for all your accounting automation work.

Task List

The Task List shows every AI task across your clients. Each task card displays the title, client name, status, and timestamp.

You can filter tasks by status:

• Queued — waiting to be picked up
• Running — currently in progress
• Waiting for User — the AI needs your input or approval
• Completed — finished successfully
• Failed — encountered an error
• Cancelled — stopped by a user

Use the search bar to find tasks by name or keyword.

Task Detail View

Select a task to open the detail view. Here you can:

• Review results — see the work the AI has completed
• View artifacts — inspect generated journal entries, reports, and files
• Message the AI — use the conversation panel to ask follow-up questions or provide clarification
• Approve or reject — use the approval workflow to accept, decline, or comment on the AI's output

Task Detail is best for one task at a time. If you need a broader client-wide review trail across multiple tasks and systems, open the Audit Center.

Quick Actions

The Command Center provides eight action cards for common tasks:

1. Inbox & To-Do — review pending items and action requests
2. Journal Entry — create or process journal entries
3. Sync COA — synchronize your chart of accounts
4. Import Bank Data — bring in bank transactions for processing
5. Bank Reconciliation — match bank data against your ledger
6. Financial Reports — generate standard financial reports
7. Close — run month-end or period close procedures
8. Financial Pack — compile a complete financial reporting package

Skills Panel

Browse and launch available AI skills from the Skills Panel. Skills are organized by category so you can quickly find what you need.

Each skill includes a description and usage examples. Select a skill, configure its parameters, and launch it directly from the panel.

Workflows Panel

The Workflows Panel lets you view and manage automated multi-step workflows. Monitor each workflow's execution status in real time, and intervene if a step requires your attention.

Workflow Library

Browse pre-built workflow templates in the Workflow Library. Templates cover common accounting processes and can be used as-is or customized to fit your needs. Select a template and create a new workflow from it in a few clicks.

Command Palette

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) to open the Command Palette. This quick-access search lets you find and launch any action, skill, or workflow without navigating through menus.

Client Context

Select a client from the client selector to scope all Command Center actions to that client. Tasks, skills, workflows, and quick actions will all operate within the selected client's data. Switch clients at any time to change context.
